The Nanowintech Federation is a social group in Mumbai with a target area of operation in the vicinity of Dharavi and surrounding areas through awareness of education, health, and so on. They make use of their time during the weekend through collaboration with a social organization called Chess Nest & DBots Robotics.

Our Vision

The Nanowintech Federation hopes to realize a place where every child and youth can find quality learning and health information in proximity, regardless of their circumstances. The hope for Nanowintech Federation is to be able to look beyond where they are currently working, in slums like the ones found in Dharavi, for what they are – filled with talent, power, and growing potential in learning and health – and not only for their challenges. The federation hopes to build a new generation that is confident, competent, and conscious of their potential by creating safe and interesting spaces for these groups.

Our Mission

“The mission of Nanowintech Federation is to ensure that education, life skills, and health issues are brought to the forefront in an ongoing fashion.” Instead of offering activities that are completed during one-time events, this particular organisation is known to ensure that the activities and teachings that are conducted are done on a regular basis that children and parents can look forward to every week. “By listening to community voices and partnering with trusted community members,” continues the mission of Nanowintech Federation, “the federation seeks to open high-quality learning and health information to everyone.”

Our Story

Nanowintech Federation has been incorporated on 3 October 2025. The company has always remained a private non-government concern. The company has been established at Mumbai in Maharashtra. This company has been founded to achieve a social cause. The founders of this company have observed that various activities like robotics teaching, coding teaching, and teaching chess are available in mainly wealthy parts of Mumbai. At the same time, in areas such as Dharavi, it has been observed that people wanted better teaching opportunities for them.

Being an office of the federation located in Kunte Nagar at the Dharavi slums, this started as learning sessions conducted at weekends and health camps which targeted the involvement of children, parents, and other well-wishers of the federation to join. As the number of members who gained increased, the federation partnered with organizations such as Chess Nest and DBots Robotics, shaping the federation into a vibrant community.

Our Impact

Right from the early stages itself, Nanowintech Federation has started leaving their impact in some corners of Dharavi too. Cancer Awareness and General Health Workshops, for an instance, have helped bring in some sort of discussion on early prevention, symptoms, as well as consulting the doctor before it is too late, which would otherwise remain untouched because of fear and lack of knowledge.

On the other hand, the children and the young people involved in robotics education and programming education as well as chess education are acquiring skills in areas such as logical thinking, concentration, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. Parents have noticed that there is an increased desire to learn and curiosity and confidence in the children. The majority of the young people have also found new passions.

Member of the Federation

Though Nanowintech Federation is managed by directors Nancy Guruswamy and Peter Shanmugavel – Jeevamani, in fact, ‘the federation itself consists of all staff, all volunteers, all parents, and all supporters who join in this mission.’ Being a member of the federation may simply involve directing a chess club, a group in robotics, assisting in a health lesson, or even seeing that children get to their lesson on time.

They invite people and institutions who care about providing a community-based alternative, irrespective of whether or not they have something to contribute  time, expertise, connections, or resources. With such a mix, they can always root themselves in realities while constantly growing the quality and scope.

Core Values

  • Community First: Programs are planned and developed with modifications made in consideration of family feedback, catering to their schedules and needs.
  • Learning by Doing:They learn about robotics, programming, and chess, among others, by undertaking various tasks such as projects, playing, and activities, which help them experience success while learning from failures.
  • Health and dignity: The health workshops are conducted in a dignified manner. The workshops are conducted with the purpose of empowering the families with information without instilling fear in them.
  •  Collaborations: Working with projects like Chess Nest and DBots Robotics is proof that with collaboration, more can be achieved because each organization is able to utilize their strengths.
  •  Accessibility: Organizing programs in Dharavi ensures that the federation reduces distances and transport costs and combats unwillingness to participate.
  •  Accountability/Transparency: The address is specific, thus making it simple to identify leaders in an organization and providing avenues to interact with the public thus making an organization accessible and transparent.

Key Programs

  • Educational & Activity Classes The weekend and holiday classes offered by the organization regarding robotics, programming, and playing chess offer the youth opportunity and a structured environment to stimulate creativity, problem-solving, and instill discipline in a fun-filled manner. The classes are designed to begin with basics and then advance towards more complex ideas so as to retain the students’ interest and motivation.
  • Health Workshops: Cancer Awareness Workshops, Health Workshops are designed to bring doctors, health educators, or facilitators to the community to talk freely about major issues. The workshops include sessions such as question-and-answer sessions, giving family members a chance to bring up questions they personally have about major health issues and how they can access facilities provided by such health centers.
  • Community Guidance and Support: Representatives of the Kunte Nagar office are available to meet and greet residents, inform them about upcoming events, help with registrations, as well as inform parents as to what kind of events are suitable for their kids. In such a way, they are regularly present to make the residents feel comfortable and included so as to make sure their voices are also heard to develop such programs.

Become a Volunteer

Nanowintech Federation understands the concept that change is a social process and can be generated by a massive number of ways through social involvement by citizens itself. In such a manner, citizens are able to register their kids to classes, take health sessions, and generate awareness so as to develop a robust learning system. Professionals such as teachers, tutors, and industry experts can commit to teach or guide individuals on programming, robotics, playing chess, or health education, possibly a few hours a month. Organizations and individuals can come together or provide sponsorship to make more things happen, have more resources available, or successful projects replicated. Anyone who is interested to stay updated or find where they can put their volunteering hands can follow the federation by referring to an associated page on an Instagram page: @nanowintechfederation, and associated pages such as @chess_nest.
